St John's Wood Church is situated almost opposite Lord's Cricket Cround in London, England.  I painted and sold this painting in 1996 after I became fascinated with the local history.  I have more to write about the church and the roundabout in front of it (that marks the spot where a huge burial pit was once used to throw bodies of the plague victims in when the area was nothing but wooded land) which is coming soon.
