Leather is a watercolour. You may recognise two faces from this painting, from two of my favourite others I have on this site.  Kat, you might remember from Born to be Wild, while Rachel on the left, was also the subject in Down to Earth.  Luisa is the latest wonderful addition to the family.  I couldn't spend half as much time on this painting as I would have liked to, but the date on the painting is also one of great importance.  The 21st of June, 2004, was the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year, and was the day that the three became one, marrying in the most beautiful, Pagan ceremony I will ever be privileged enough to witness.  They are three of the most beautiful souls that ever existed and I am forever honoured to be able to call them some of my closest friends.  You will definitely be seeing more of them :)
